Sandman author  Neil Gaiman has been hit with rape and trafficking lawsuits months after allegations against the author arose. His estranged wife Amanda Palmer is also named in the documents.

Neil Gaiman was hit with even more serious sexual assault allegations on Monday, with new charges filed in three states accusing him of rape and human trafficking by his former nanny, who is suing him for $1 million.

Scarlett Pavlovich filed a lawsuit in federal court against the author Neil Gaiman on human-trafficking charges under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, a law intended to curtail the crime in the United States and abroad.
