The Texas House Public Education Committee is expected to pass the lower chamber's version of a school voucher bill next week.

Dustin Burrows said the legislation would clear a committee early next week and be on the House floor “very soon thereafter — and pass.”

Burrows assured the Texas House would do something it has failed to do multiple times: pass an education savings account program (ESA).
