Top seed Carlos Alcaraz of Spain outlasted third seed Alex de Minaur of Australia 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to win the ABN AMRO Open on Sunday in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It marks the World No. 3's first tournament win of the new year and his 17th ATP singles title.

Carlos Alcaraz defeated Alex de Minaur 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in the final of the Rotterdam Open on Sunday, claiming a first indoor trophy of his career alongside titles on grass, clay and hardcourt.

Speaking on Eurosport, former French ace Nicolas Escudé analyzed Alcaraz's victory in Rotterdam: "He had never won a title indoors, so he needed a success like that. There were a lot of dangerous players in this tournament and he deserved to lift the trophy, although he had a lot of ups and downs during the week."
