A return to the San Francisco 49ers reportedly could be in the cards for former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh. According to NFL insider

A big part of Saleh's struggles with the Jets came from his inability to find solutions at the quarterback position, as well as offensive coordinator. New York never finished with an offense that was ranked over the bottom third of the league in any year led by Saleh.

The Jaguars got the ball rolling, requesting interviews with multiple coaches around the league including former Jets head coach Robert Saleh.

It appears Robert Saleh will have the opportunity to become head coach in the NFL again as one team has requested to interview him.

According to reports, Robert Saleh and Aaron Glenn have accepted the Jaguars’ interview requests for head coach.

For some of those teams, that will involve finding new head coaches and/or General Managers. Three teams fired their head coaches during the season and two more have been dispatched as of 9 a.m. ET on January 6.
