Unofficial results are in for coordinated elections in Pueblo County. This includes Ballot Question 2A, which asked voters if the City of Pueblo should cancel its agreement with Black Hills Energy.

Vicki Stuart, a 64-year-old former postal worker, admitted in a plea agreement Monday to engaging in identity theft and forgery in the 2024 presidential election. The accused admitted in court to one count each of theft and forgery,

At the time of the theft, Stuart was working as a U.S. Postal Service employee in Grand Junction with direct access to ballots that had been sent in the mail in October of 2024. She is friends with the other woman charged in the case, Sally Jane Maxedone (also known as Sally Jane Smith). Maxedone is due in court Thursday for a review hearing.

A special municipal election is quickly approaching, and Colorado Springs residents are set to vote on a controversial land annexation. The ballot will only have that one question about the Karman Line Annexation.

Specifically, Colorado law requires a second election to allow a unionized workplace to negotiate over fees on non-union members. That election requires a higher threshold of a 75% "yes" vote to pass. The unions want to get rid of that second election.
