Oscar is expected to bring 7 to 14 inches of rain to Cuba, with isolated amounts up to 20 inches. The southeastern Bahamas could see 3 to 5 inches.

Oscar held on to tropical storm strength overnight, despite the blow dealt by Cuba’s mountains, as it rolled over the Southeastern Bahamas on Tuesday. The storm is expected to drop about 3 to 5 inches of rain on the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos as it crosses the islands.

Tropical Storm Oscar is expected to move near the southeastern and central Bahamas Tuesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.
