TEXAS (KAUZ) - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has identified the man investigators believe is responsible for the decades-old cold case murder of 86-year-old Mary Moore Searight. Nearly 30 years after Searight’s death, 54-year-old David Paul Cady Jr. was indicted by a Lamar County Jury in December 2024.
