The Nintendo Switch 2 is now available to pre-order starting tonight with the official release date as June 5, 2025. Walmart is beginning pre-orders of the Switch 2 precisely at midnight Eastern Time on April 24, 2025 (which is 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the 23rd).

Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders are now live on both sides of the pond. In the U.S. and the U.K., Nintendo’s upcoming console has been made available to order, and it took just a matter of hours (minutes in some cases) for the dreaded “sold out” sign to appear across retailers.
