The grieving therapist is back. Apple has renewed Shrinking, which stars Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, for a third season. It comes a day after the launch of season two. The news comes as the creators and stars of the show are speaking at New York Comic Con.

The show's brilliant cast all return for a second round, taking the characters through new challenges and delivering the show's very funny, genuinely moving script to perfection. With just two episodes out on Apple TV+, Shrinking picks up where we left off with these now ingrained characters and wisely doesn't reinvent the wheel.

Whatever one thought of how the show portrayed therapy, and plenty were appalled by the idea that doctor-patient boundaries are more annoying inconvenience than ironclad principle, Season 1 of “Shrinking” at least had a hook-y premise to structure its broader study of grief.
