North Korean leader Kim Jong Un observed the testing of naval missile and artillery systems earlier this week, state media Korean Central News Agency reported Wednesday, days after acknowledging for the first time that Pyongyang was aiding Moscow’s war on Ukraine.

North Korea conducted test-firing of its missile system from its newly launched 5000-tonne warship. Kim Jong Un calls for "accelerating the nuclear armament of the navy in order to defend the state and maritime sovereignty from the existing and future threats.
