Former Texas Southern defensive lineman Michael Strahan was among 22 electees announced Wednesday for this year's College Football Hall of Fame class.

The Fighting Irish will have a 50th player inducted in the hall after it was announced Terry Hanratty had been named in the 2025 class, becoming the team's 10th quarterback to receive the honor

The College Football Hall of Fame welcomes in a new class, highlighted by Urban Meyer, Michael Vick and Michael Strahan.

After headlining the ballot of the College Football Hall of Fame last summer, Michael Strahan is officially set to be inducted.
