Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has rallied around Pep Guardiola and said the struggling Manchester City boss needs support after a run of two wins in seven European games left City's Champions League knockout phase hopes under threat.

Guardiola confirmed "the players we had out are [still] out", including winger Jeremy Doku, who "felt something" during Sunday's win at Ipswich, and defender Ruben Dias, who has an abductor problem with no scheduled return date.

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that his three January signings will be thrown straight into the Manchester City squad against Chelsea in the Premier League.
