Experts, human rights workers and lawyers criticized reports of plans to deport migrants from the U.S. to Libya.

A federal judge has warned the Trump administration -- amid reports it plans to deport migrants to Libya -- that doing so would violate court orders prohibiting the government from shipping deportees to a third country.

The administration is facing pushback against its plan to begin deporting immigrants to the North African nation, whose rival governments said they have not agreed to accept them.
