The morning Hurricane Milton passed, boaters who could still access their vessels raced to get back out on the water for one reason and one reason only: to find out if Midnight Pass had reopened. The hoots and hollers shared between kayakers, boaters and jet skiers in Sarasota Bay quickly revealed the answer.

Satellite images shows that Hurricane Milton shifted some parts of the Florida coast and even split some beaches in half.
