This year's In Memoriam at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday kicked off with a video tribute to late One Direction singer Liam Payne, who died Oct. 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires.

Grammys’ “In Memoriam” segment on Feb. 2, the Recording Academy paid tribute to the artists who passed away over the past year, including Quincy Jones, Liam Payne and Toby Keith.

Liam Payne, who died in October at the age of 31, was honored with a special moment during the 67th Grammy Awards held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles Feb. 2.
