Two persons accused of inciting violence at Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, were shot at during an encounter on October 17 while trying to flee to Nepal, several national media outlets reported.

Uttar Pradesh Police arrested five key accused following an encounter in which two suspects, Mohammed Sarfaraz and Mohammed Talib, were injured. Both are currently undergoing treatment at Bahraich District Hospital.
