PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — When there is a working smoke alarm in your home, the risk of dying in a house fire is reduced by 60%, according to the National Fire Protection Association.
The alarm and light shut off simultaneously when the sensor no longer detected any aerosol. The X-Sense SC01 lacks an ionization sensor and uses only a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke.
