Playing Nashville's Ryman Auditorium 'a blessing' for Ringo Starr with new country album
Joined by the likes of Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, and Jack White, the live performances with Starr — who just released his first country album in 55 years, Look Up, on Jan. 10 in collaboration with songwriter-producer T Bone Burnett — will become a two-hour CBS special, Ringo & Friends at the Ryman, to air in the spring.

It is the only song by the band credited to Lennon, McCartney, Starkey and the only song on Rubber Soul that features Ringo Starr on lead vocals. It reached #81 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1966, and definitely has a country twang to it that’s not found on a lot of their most popular music.
