DALLAS -- Kiefer Sherwood completed the comeback with 1:16 left in overtime for the Vancouver Canucks, who scored three times in the final minute of a five-goal third period to rally for a 6-5 win against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center on Tuesday.

The Dallas Stars took a 3-0 lead into the third period and seemed firmly in control of the game. The Canucks, who would be officially eliminated from the playoffs with a regulation loss, poured everything they had into the final frame, clawing two goals back to make it 3-2, but it wasn’t enough.

The Vancouver Canucks trailed 5-2 with a minute remaining in the third period, but unleashed three unanswered goals in regulation and won in overtime to complete a record rally against the Dallas Stars.
