Eddie Howe is back to work and ready to lead Newcastle United once again after a period of recovery following his pneumonia diagnosis. Thursday morning brought confirmation, just 12 days after the Magpies' head coach had been admitted to hospital, that he was already feeling well enough to take training on Wednesday.

Tindall (reluctantly) spent six months attempting to go it alone at Bournemouth, but aside from his brief spell as part of Paul Heckingbottom’s staff at Sheffield United, he had never been without Howe for any of their previous 710 matches as a duo.
