Last night, the U.S. Senate voted on a measure aiming to block President Donald Trump's 'Liberation Day' tariffs. Kentucky's two republican senators were not a part of the group voting against the measure.

Paul is increasingly critical of the tariffs. Of Trump’s meeting with trade representatives, he said: “It reminded me of a meeting on industrial policy in the Soviet Union.”

Paul cosponsored a bill against Trump's tariffs, hoping to block the president from wielding "emergency" powers.
