Jayson Tatum and the defending champion Boston Celtics got back on track Saturday with a comfortable 115-93 win over the New York Knicks in Game 3 of their second-round series. After blowing 20-point leads in Games 1 and 2, the Celtics took care of business to make the series 2-1 in favor of the Knicks.

Boston looked more like themselves in Game 3, and so did their star forward, Jayson Tatum. Tatum delivered a strong performance, and in doing so, he moved past Hall of Famer and NBA icon Kobe Bryant for the second-most career playoff points by the age of 27.

Tatum is not only ahead of James, but he has also surpassed Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. The late NBA legend scored 2,889 points by the time he was at Tatum's age. Tatum narrowly surpassed him before his Game 2 performance wrapped up. The two were tied until Tatum hit his last three of the game.
