Less than 36 hours before its first preseason match against Club America in Las Vegas, Inter Miami CF gave fans a boost of excitement for the 2025 campaign by announcing the arrival of a new signing.

The match against America is the first of five preseason dates for Inter Miami on its “Americas Tour”. The team will play games in Peru, Panama and Honduras over the next few weeks and end the tour in Tampa against Orlando City on Valentine’s Day.

Inter Miami CF made two new signings ahead of its 2025 MLS campaign, adding goalkeeper Rocco Rios Novo and defender Gonzalo Lujan to the roster.

Inter Miami signed defender Gonzalo Lujan to a contract on Thursday that spans through the 2027 season with an option for 2028. Financial terms were not disclosed by the Herons for Lujan, who previously played for Argentine top-flight side San Lorenzo.
