A rescue shelter's cat has been given a new lease of life after receiving pain medication for his severe dental problems.
The cat refused to eat dry food ... and the immunoassays were negative. We saw severe inflammation of the gums on oral examination. Gentle probing of the gingival sulcus resulted in hemorrhage.
