The billionaire’s rocket is ready for its first launch. It could give satellite operators and the DoD a long-desired option to SpaceX—at a cheaper price, Forbes reveals.

Blue Origin is slated to test its New Glenn rocket early Sunday morning. SpaceX plans to follow with the seventh test of its huge Starship on Monday.

The scheduled Sunday launch could mark a new phase in competition in the commercial space market, and pave the way for the deployment of Amazon's Kuiper satellite network.
