Waking up this morning sure felt like a ‘warm-up’ compared to the last few days. We’ll start out in the teens under mostly cloudy skies. It will be a milder afternoon with temperatures expected to climb into the mid 20s for highs.

Cold temperatures set up this weekend, however, with high pressure building expect mostly sunny skies to set up Saturday and Sunday.

“Temperatures will continue to slowly rise through the single digits and teens today. Therefore, the cold weather advisory will expire at 10 a.m. this morning,” states the National Weather Service.

It’s still cold Thursday, but unlikely we see anything more than a few light flurries. High pressure to the south will keep us quiet Friday with slowly warming temperatures. A c
