Outfielder Cody Bellinger, who missed games Friday and Saturday in Pittsburgh because of stiffness in his lower back, is not in Tuesday afternoon’s starting lineup against the Tigers because of a bout with “food poisoning,” according to manager Aaron Boone.

Veteran Cody Bellinger was acquired in the offseason to help replace Juan Soto, but he has had a tough week staying on the field. Bellinger missed two of the Yankees' three games against the Pirates over the weekend, and he is once again out of the lineup as New York faces the Tigers on Tuesday afternoon.
