The company behind the rollout of the National Broadband Plan has announced residents of Sherkin Island and Cape Clear Island off the coast of Cork can now place their orders for fibre broadband.

Cape Clear Island, located just off of Co Cork in the beautiful southwest coast of Ireland, is one of the 15 Gaeltacht islands where Irish remains the primary spoken language of the local population.
