Last week’s snow brought the threat of boil water notices to regions across Southeast Texas, prompting some residents to reply with what seemed to be the obvious — there’s more than enough precipitation on the ground.
Boil water advisory issued for dozens of Suffolk homes
A boil water advisory has been issued for some Suffolk residents. The advisory, which followed a main water break Monday afternoon, is for residents in the Oakland area of the Chuckatuck Borough, according to a release. The advisory affects about 40 homes in the following areas:

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A boil water notice issued by Etoile Water Supply Friday has been rescinded. The Etoile Water Supply issued the boil notice on Friday for the Lazy Acres and Perry’s Point Subdivision off of CR 483. Tuesday, they said the issue had been resolved and boiling water was no longer necessary.
