LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – 12,000 people in Lafayette are under a water boil advisory. Residents north of I-10 are affected. Heidi Tweedel with Lafayette Utilities Services (LUS) said they don’t have names of roads because the affected area is so widespread.

Customers are urged to boil water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking, or other uses. The advisory will remain in effect until water pressure normalizes and tests confirm water safety.
Boil Advisories Lifted at All But Two LPSS Schools
LAFAYETTE, La. ( KLFY) – Boil water advisories have been lifted for all Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) schools except Milton Elementary/Middle School and Ossun Elementary School, where the advisory remains in effect through Tuesday, January 28.
