Looks like we're not out of the woods yet. Outage reports for Zelle have been all over the place in the last 24 hours. Reports peaked at around 150 at 10 a.m. ET before trickling down and spiking back up again around 11 p.m. ET.

Much of Zelle's appeal versus Venmo or PayPal is that it’s instant, and no extra fees are associated with the speed. However, users have taken to Down Detector – a site that tracks outages – and social media platforms to voice issues with the platform.

Zelle reported an outage Friday with the money transferring network, impacting many bank customers trying to make payments.
