A deadly airstrike on a migrant detention center in Yemen’s Sa’ada province has drawn sharp condemnation after experts identified US-made munitions at the scene and suggested the facility was deliberately targeted.

Yemen's Houthi rebels say a U.S. strike has hit a detention center for migrants in Saada, killing dozens of people.

The Houthi militia, which is backed by Iran, said the attack was an American strike. The U.S. Defense Department said it was assessing the claims and took them seriously.
