Van Lith is part of a stacked Sky backcourt that includes five-time All-Star Courtney Vandersloot, two-time All-Star Ariel Atkins, and 2019 All-Star Kia Nurse. All four are new arrivals, although Vandersloot played in Chicago from 2011-22 and helped it win the 2021 WNBA Finals.

Angel Reese posted nine points on 4-of-9 shooting and eight rebounds to help lead the Chicago Sky to a 74-69 win on Tuesday in a home preseason battle against the Minnesota Lynx. As usual, Reese did work on the boards, grabbing one on the offensive glass and putting it back home for two in the first quarter.

The 2025 WNBA preseason schedule will get underway Friday with two games, including the Chicago Sky's matchup against the Brazilian national team, which will take place on LSU's campus in Baton Rouge.
