Notre Dame has lost two more players as exits to the transfer portal, this time with the losses coming in the wide receiver room. Graduates Jayden Thomas and Deion Colzie both announced on Wednesday that they are entering the transfer portal and will continue their college football careers elsewhere.

The Notre Dame football program has seen three players leave via the transfer portal on Wednesday, days after the CFP loss.

South Bend, Ind. – Notre Dame offensive lineman Pat Coogan, who started 26 games over the last two seasons and often served as the team's pregame hype man, is transferring. Coogan announced his intentions on social media Thursday and will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.

Despite making the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoffs, Tennessee has a lot of remodeling to do over the offseason. Josh Heupel has taken an aggressive approach in the college football transfer portal and landed another commitment from former Notre Dame offensive tackle Sam Pendleton.

As expected when he entered the transfer portal with a non-contact tag, former Notre Dame offensive lineman Sam Pendleton has committed to Tennessee. His decision to come to Knoxville comes under a week after playing in the National Championship with the Fighting Irish.
