By Tuesday night, the second cold front will move in, bringing more permanent fall weather. Wednesday will see highs in the upper 60s, with extremely dry air and dewpoints dropping into the 30s. Expect the coldest night of the season so far, with lows in the 40s.

Finally, fall temperatures are expected to arrive in Alabama. The National Weather Service is forecasting a big cooldown for the entire state next week. How about high temperatures in the 60s? What about a few lows in the 30s?

A cold front arrives at the very start of next week bringing even cooler conditions and more quiet weather. Daytime highs most of the week will be in the 60s to low 70s with morning lows mostly in the 40s.

The next few days will remain very hot across South Texas, but relief from the heat is possible next week as a cold front aims for Texas.

However, we're now looking ahead to some very welcome changes in our weather pattern for next week! We're seeing promising signs in our computer models that our first legitimate fall cold front will move through Central on Tuesday of next week,
