Taylen Green has had a week and a half to get healthy from a knee injury that he suffered late in his last outing. Now, with that idle time passed ahead of this weekend’s game, Sam Pittman had the latest on the Razorbacks’ QB.

Green left the Razorbacks’ win over Tennessee in the fourth quarter after suffering what Pittman said was a bone bruise. He had extra time to recover thanks to Arkansas’ Week 7 bye.

Sam Pittman met with reporters in Fayetteville on Monday ahead of Arkansas-LSU in Week 8. Pittman covered several topics, including the health of starting quarterback Taylen Green.

Taylen Green did not finish the game as Arkansas upset Tennessee due to injury. Malachi Singleton finished the deal and Sam Pittman revealed why Green did not come back in after exiting early in the fourth quarter.

Green re-entered the game for one play on Arkansas' next drive, but he was hobbling as he exited the pocket to the right and then left the game. He entered the injury tent before leaving for the Arkansas locker room with the Hogs trailing 14-13.
