Southwest Airlines announced it will increase service between Columbus and San Diego, Dallas Love Field and Orlando beginning in October. Southwest's options to San Diego will go from a Saturday-only and summer-only nonstop route to near-daily departures year-round, according to a Columbus Regional Airport Authority press release.

The airline announced that it will begin offering daily non-stop flights between Fresno and San Diego beginning October 2.
