Konami and Bloober Team’s fancy remake of survival horror classic Silent Hill 2 appears to be a big hit, with the new game selling over a million copies in less than a week. Finally, fans have some good news after years of not-great sequels and poor management of the franchise.

The Silent Hill 2 remake was arguably the most anticipated horror game of the year. At the very least, it was the most anticipated Silent Hill project Konami announced when the company revealed it was reviving the franchise back in 2022.
