The company overseeing the recovery of a superyacht that sank a year ago off Sicily says it will halt operations following the death of a specialist diver while working underwater.

The recovery operation of the superyacht Bayesian, sunk off the Sicilian coast, has been suspended after a diver died during the salvage efforts. The yacht, owned by Mike Lynch, sank a year ago in a storm that killed seven people, including Lynch and his daughter.
