Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer has been hit with a fine after his team was found guilty of maintaining a slow over-rate during their four-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Chepauk.

Punjab Kings' captain, Shreyas Iyer, was fined INR 12 lakh for maintaining a slow over-rate during their match against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Iyer said, "I love chasing on any field. I feel like I thrive whenever there is a big total on the board and you need to take the charge and momentum for the team for the rest of the batters to come and go full throttle."
