Ryan Hartman of the Minnesota Wild has been suspended 10 games for slamming an opponent's head to the ice with his right arm on a faceoff.

Veteran forward Ryan Hartman can appeal the ruling but is a "repeat offender" and has been suspended by the NHL on four previous occasions.

Ryan Hartman has been offered an in-person hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety. The Minnesota Wild forward is facing discipline for roughing against Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle. The date and time of the hearing is to be determined.
