Nissan Motor Corporation and Renault Group jointly announced that they are restructuring their alliance, with the Japanese automaker agreeing to sell its 51% stake in their Indian joint venture, Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Ltd (RNAIPL),

All these changes are part of Renault’s 2027 International Game Plan that will allow the French carmaker to accelerate its growth by streamlining its operations with its alliance partner Nissan.

In a significant restructuring of their longtime partnership, Nissan Motor Co. and Renault will reduce their mutual stake from the current 15 percent to 10 percent, Nissan announced on March 31.
