At least one person is dead and four others injured in a Palm Springs, California, explosion outside a fertility clinic, Akil Davis, the FBI’s assistant director in charge of Los Angeles’ field office,

The blast occurred around 11 a.m. in the 1100 block of North Indian Canyon Drive, either in or near an American Reproductive Centers fertility clinic which was extensively damaged. Some reports indicated the blast may have been a car explosion in a vehicle parked near the clinic.

Photos and video of the scene posted to social media show rubble and debris scattered around and the wall of the building blown out.
