Former North Myrtle Beach City Manager Mike Mahaney, who was ousted last year, will seek to become the city’s next mayor, according to documents filed Monday with the South Carolina Ethics Commission.

The former city manager of North Myrtle Beach is now running for the city’s top position. Mike Mahaney confirmed Tuesday he is running for mayor of North Myrtle Beach in the November election.
