Over the years, due to the death of its parent company and family drama between the owners, Crown Books went through a series of bankruptcies and was completely out of business by 2001.

Costco recalls cold and flu medication over contamination concerns
NEW YORK — Costco has issued a recall of some of its Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion medication over contamination concerns. LNK International Inc, the New York-based manufacturer behind the medication, issued a recall advisory on Jan. 2 "out of an abundance of caution." The recall comes amid an active cold and flu season.
