Heavy fighting continues as Russian and Ukrainian forces exchange intense strikes. Kyiv launched a series of drone attacks targeting Russian energy facilities, sparking a blaze at oil depots in Krasnodar.

It came as Russia and Ukraine swapped 150 prisoners of war each and UK foreign secretary David Lammy met with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.

Ukraine is believed to have launched a new drone attack on Russia, targeting a major oil depot in the southern Krasnodar region. Kyiv has stepped up its aerial attacks across Russian regions over the winter, as it seeks to disrupt fuel and ammunition supply lines to Putin's army in Ukraine.
