Kirk Herbstreit did "College GameDay" from Oregon, left early, then flew to Dallas to call the Red River Rivalry nearly 2,000 miles away.

The Oregon Ducks host the Ohio State Buckeyes in a top-3 matchup on Saturday night, and ESPN College GameDay will be in Eugene for the game. GameDay panelist Kirk Herbstreit called Oregon his favorite place to bring the beloved pregame show.

Herbstreit and the rest of College GameDay have logged a ton of flight miles this year, heating from Ireland to Texas to Michigan and eventually to Oregon. They’ll more than likely be heading down south again in Week 8, to either attend the Georgia-Texas matchup or the Alabama-Tennessee matchup.

As College GameDay made its return to Eugene for No. 3 Oregon vs. No. 2 Ohio State, Herbstreit left the set mid-show to board his flight to Dallas to call the Red River Rivalry game between No. 1 Texas and No. 18 Oklahoma this afternoon. But he didn’t stop broadcasting.
