The U.S. restaurant industry is on track to see $1 trillion in sales for the first time in history in 2024, according to the National Restaurant Association, and the average household spends $2,375 a year on dining and takeout purchases.

Guy Fieri’s Food Network show premieres Friday with an episode featuring StepChld in northeast Minneapolis. When Kamal Mohamed got a call from the team behind “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” he turned them down.

Blondeau said that when food establishments have a Priority Item or a Priority Foundation Item violation, the department gives the restaurant a maximum of 10 days to correct it; the health inspector will follow-up in person to confirm that the violation was corrected within the timeframe. Core Item violations should be corrected within 90 days.

The local distiller's restaurants aren't diners, drive-ins or dives. But they caught the attention of the celebrity chef and Columbus native.

Fieri is bringing a taste of Minnesota to the airwaves with Hai Hai, Oro by Nixta, Union Hmong Kitchen, and others.

Fieri was seen around the Twin Cities in August. Now, the Food Network has revealed one of the Minnesota restaurants that will be on the show.
