Beyoncé brought high-fashion and western wear to the stage during her "Cowboy Carter" tour, and her looks seemed to serve a higher purpose at times.

Beyoncé kicked off her Cowboy Carter Tour on Monday, April 28, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles by including a rare video of her 7-year-old son, Sir, in her performance.

Beyoncé soared across SoFi Stadium in a giant neon horseshoe, and then again in a red convertible Cadillac. She mounted and rode a gleaming, mechanical golden bull — all the while belting tunes from Cowboy Carter and her decades-spanning discography.
