Tesla has suspended taking new orders for Model S and Model X vehicles on its Chinese website, Reuters checks showed on Friday, as the world’s two largest economies exchange blows in a trade war.

An “order” button was removed from Tesla’s Chinese website after Beijing raised tariffs on U.S. imports in response to President Trump’s levies against the country.

Tesla has stopped taking orders for its Model X and Model S vehicles on its Chinese website as the U.S. and China trade war continues to escalate. The two models, which Reuters reports are also no longer available for order through popular mobile app WeChat,
